one of "those" days

don't ask me what I did, I have no clue, all I know is that when I came home from my three sessions on Sunday afternoon, my foot was sore. After an hour at home, I could barely walk. I didn't fall or twist it or anything that I remember, just some walking around the park for the three sessions I had. Nothing major or out of the ordinary. So yesterday was the worst, I could barely walk, got up and called the Dr. first thing, they couldn't fit me in as most of the Dr.'s are out due to the holiday this week. So Jase stayed home and chased the kids. Sitting on the couch being waited on all day only sounds glamourous for about the first hour, after that, not so much. I wanted to play with the kids, chase Taryn, fix lunch, all the normal stuff. Positive spin? I got a lot of work done. So this morning we went to the Dr. who says I damaged a tendon in the bottom of my foot. Not sure I believe that though, it's the heal that hurts. Treatment? Stay off my feet for two weeks. HA! Silly silly man. Have you ever met a mom that stayed off her feet for two weeks!? I literally laughed outload at him.....to which he said "is that funny?". Yes, actually, it is. Two kids to chase after, the holiday rush with session after session, haha silly man. So instead we are going for cutting back on my time on my feet, regular doses of Tylenol since it's all I can take while nursing, hot water soaks and shoe inserts (yes, I'll be gellin).

I should have known Sunday was going to be one of those days. I almost forgot my backdrops, thankfully, Jase remembered they were in the dryer. I got in the car to the gas light popping on, go to get gas and realize my tire is almost flat. Got on the interstate to make the hour drive into New Orleans only to be forced off because the highrise was closed. They make you get off but don't tell you where to go. I decided to follow an 18 wheeler who thankfully made it back to the interstate with relative ease. I thought things were looking up when I arrived at the park on time despite all my trouble that morning and the park was gorgeous, great session location!!

I guess I should quit whining......I am getting out of doing the grocery shopping for Thanksgiving....my husband is going with a very detailed list organized by store aisle and item :) So I'll just shut up and post a picture. Here is adorable little Klaire with her big blue eyes. I'm not sure what it is but I think I make Klaire sleepy and she always gets tired when I am present.
