Sorry I haven't updated the blog, we have just been so busy. We went to Jason's company Christmas party thrown by NOAA last night and let me just tell you, we had so much fun. We all dressed up and the kids had a blast. Actually, Taryn had way more fun than anyone else. That kid LOVES live music, I've never seen anything like it. She danced and clapped and danced some more.

There was a moment last night where I just stood back and watched my husband out on the dance floor, dancing to "My Girl" with our daughter and it brought tears to my eyes. They just both looked so happy, as if there was no one else in the world and they didn't have a care, so so happy, enjoying one another, with big smiles. She would dance and spin and shake her little bootie....what I wouldn't give to have no inhibitions like that! Pure joy. Ty wanted to go dance with her everytime she pulled on his hand to go out on the dance floor, but he is at that painful age where he thinks everyone in the room is staring at him when dancing. He looked so handsome all dressed up though. By 9:30 it was time to tear our daughter away from the dance floor and head for home.....little party animal!
