wishing we were there....

Two years ago.....wow.....feels like so much longer. Our 2nd anniversary is coming up and wow we have been through so much. Honeymoon baby, Ty's adoption and hurricane Katrina all in the first year alone. I finally got around to backing up all our wedding pictures and couldn't help but post one. We thought Katrina ate them and even after the house was gutted and we were rebuilding, we still thought they were gone. We had purchased CD's and original negatives from our wedding photographer, the only copies. And then one day in the bottom of a box I had looked in 10 times, there they were, glowing in all their beauty. Someone must have grabbed them at the last minute....who knows....who cares....we have them and it makes me so happy. I'm sure I will be posting more as our anniversary gets closer. You guys will probably get bored with our wedding pictures but when I look at them, I think about Hawaii, commiting to one another, seeing love in his eyes, whispering to one another during the ceremony, watching Ty be so happy to get his way (the little guy worked hard to get us down that aisle!). And I think of an easier time, beauty, paradise. So there we are, after taking the plunge, making the best of the weather, playing in the rain at sunset. Pure bliss and a wonderful beginning.
