snoop
so you think this face is sweet and innocent right??

you would be oh so WRONG! Our son decided to snoop through several boxes of Christmas presents last night. Little snoop. They were left on our bed and we forgot they were there, he went into the master bath to take a shower and the rest is history. Jase asked him if he peeked this morning and out comes a big smile. Darn it. Why did we leave them out like that?! We know his little 9 year old sneaky butt can't resist that level of temptation. Well, and given the fact that I was once a snoop myself, I decided to let Jason give the lecture. I once dug through all my gifts and even tried on some of the clothes before Christmas (sorry Mom). Christmas was really boring that year. So to avoid feeling like a complete hypocrite I let Jason do the scolding. He wanted to return everything Ty saw, but I talked him out of it, because that would really just create more work for us 3 days before Christmas and what's the point of that?! Instead his punishment is to wrap them all up himself. Bwahahahaha.

This made me laugh so hard. You should see my not-so innocent face. I got a huge package from my dad a few days ago. Everything in it was wrapped. One for me felt like a lens (my dad knows I'm obsesseed with photography right now so I knew it could've been one). I couldn't resist. I had to peak. heehee. what's my problem? I'm no 9 year old. Anyway, I'm getting a flash for christmas. shh don't tell my dad
AMANDA!!!! shame shame....I guess some kids never grow out of it!! LOL
I LOVE this punishment! I am so pleased that you have TWO children that are so much like YOU!!
So........you better get your butt over here soon cuz I just UNWRAPPED all of your gifts! It's never too late to hand out a good punishment!
Bwahahahahaha!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Oh, this is too good!! I love your punishments Lynds, they are so creative! But, what would I expect, you have creativeness running through your veins! Better hurry and go punish your mom! Heather
awww crap...
Mom don't do it!! I've learned my lesson I swear....believe me....it's coming back to haunt me now....isn't that punishment enough?? Besides I think there is a statute of limitations of punishment...say 20 years?!
:)
LOLOLOL!!!!
Oops Lyndsay, you told on yourself :o)
Now go wrap up those presents, hee hee!!
Oh, gosh, what an idiot...I thought your mom opened the presents that you already put under her tree for this Christmas...not that your mom was going to make you wrap your presents for this year!! Jane, you are too funny! I have to agree, there has to be some sort of statute of limitations on that, otherwise I'm sure there are many more things we could still be punished for if they were found out..and, we don't want that :)
Heather - We can only wonder what mischief you and Lynds would have gotten into if you had lived close when you were in your teens! I bet Carol also enjoys the antics of your kids from time to time. As they say, what goes around comes around and now you and Lynds are gettin yours..... !!!
Jane - that is too true! I'm sure we would have gotten into loads of "trouble" and had a ton of fun doing it!!! LOL!! But, sadly, you are right, now we get to deal with the what goes around comes around part of it. I think I enjoyed being a parent more in the diaper stage - LOL!! No, I love the ages of my kids, I just have to be more on my toes.
